Employees Ratify Three-Year Agreement

The Hospitals are extremely pleased that our SEIU-UHW-represented employees voted to ratify the tentative agreement that was reached on August 28, 2017. This new three-year contract was the result of negotiations that began earlier in the summer between the Hospitals and SEIU-UHW.

The Hospitals’ bargaining team would like to express our appreciation to SEIU-UHW’s bargaining team for the constructive sessions that led to a new contract, and also to our SEIU-UHW-represented employees for taking the time to vote. The new contract between the Hospitals and SEIU-UHW will be in place through September 2020.

Tentative Agreement Reached

We are pleased to announce that the Hospitals have reached a tentative agreement with SEIU-UHW on a new three-year contract for our SEIU-UHW-represented employees. SEIU-UHW and its bargaining team are unanimously recommending ratification of the tentative agreement. SEIU-UHW will share further details about the ratification vote once they are confirmed.

It has always been our belief that a highly competitive contract that supports our employees and their profession, while also promoting our special mission with a focus on patient safety and quality, was in all of our best interests.

We greatly appreciate the hard work of the bargaining teams and look forward to the ratification vote. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please reach out to your manager or submit them here
